JSRHS is offering in-person summer courses designed to help students stay on track for graduation. This program is by invitation only. Running from Monday, July 7 through Thursday, July 31, 2025, the program will provide students the opportunity to earn up to 1.0 credit in English and/or math through successful course completion.
Courses will be held Monday through Thursday, with two sessions available:
Session 1: 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Session 2: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Each class will run for two hours daily, and daily attendance is mandatory. Students who accumulate more than two absences will be required to re-enroll in the course during the fall 2025 semester. Please note: tardies will count as absences.
The courses will follow a blended learning model using Canvas, combining in-person instruction with outside-of-class assignments. Coursework may include preparation for upcoming lessons, practice assignments, and both formative and summative assessments.
All coursework must be completed by July 31, 2025, to earn credit.
Parents will be notified if their student qualifies for this summer school opportunity.
