February 4th- Deliberative Session — The School Board will be presenting several articles for the town.  Anyone in the town can change the language of the articles and the numbers associated with the articles.  As long as the majority of the people in the room agree, the language can change.  Why this matters — last year, and we predict the same will happen this year, there was a movement to put a tax cap on spending for schools.  The teacher’s contract will also appear in a warrant article.  Another hot topic is school choice.  Attending this meeting will help keep you informed, and if you are a resident, you can vote on the language/ numbers.

February 6th is recognized as a day to raise awareness for heart health. Traditionally, we wear red as a way to bring visibility to the importance of heart awareness, prevention, and overall wellness.
