As we approach the upcoming state testing window, we want to take a moment to thank you for your continued partnership in your child’s learning. This is an exciting time of year when students get to show all they’ve learned and accomplished! Students have been getting familiar with the NH SAS platform. This can continue at home by accessing the practice test as a guest user.
To help your child feel confident and ready, here are a few things you can do at home:
1. Encourage a Good Night’s Sleep:
Rest is so important! Please make sure your child gets a full night’s sleep before each testing day.
2. Start the Day with a Healthy Breakfast:
A balanced breakfast can help students stay focused and energized. Whether at home or at school, a nutritious breakfast makes a big difference.
3. Be on Time:
We’ll begin testing shortly after the school day starts. Arriving on time helps your child feel calm and prepared.
4. Send Positive Vibes:
A few encouraging words can go a long way. Remind your child that all we ask is for them to try their best. Effort and perseverance matter most!
5. Talk About It:
Ask your child how they’re feeling about the test. If they’re nervous, reassure them that it’s just one way we learn about how they’re growing as a learner—and it won’t define who they are.
We believe in every single student and know they’ve worked hard this year. With your support, they’ll walk into testing days feeling confident and ready to shine.
