Join us in a series of conversations around belonging and inclusion at SAU 24 schools. Facilitators from NH Listens will guide us in discussions about issues facing our school community, with a focus on how we move forward and foster an environment where every person feels seen, welcome, and safe. The conversation will build from session to session and participants are welcome to attend any one or more of the sessions. The thoughts and input from the evenings will shape the next steps of our work.
We welcome students, families, educators and community members. Please register to help us with planning.

About NH Listens: NH Listens envisions a state where residents are connected, engaged, and heard in decisions that impact their lives and where all have equitable access to justice, opportunity, and liberty. NH Listens works with public schools to create a strong foundation for sustained work for educational equity. We believe that educational equity and a sense of belonging among all learners can lead to improved educational outcomes for all and requires effort at the community, school, and district levels. We have adopted this definition from the National Equity Project where educational equity means that each child receives what they need to develop to their full academic and social potential. Our theory of action is based on the premise that systematic change requires simultaneous changes in individual educator, school, and district practice. It also requires building opportunities for public learning and understanding that builds the will and support for developing more equitable, effective educational practices. All activities under this contract are in compliance with HB 2 sections 91:297 and 91:298.
